Teresa recording in the studio.

"Christmas comes once a year" has been written by Jane and is being sung by Teresa, backed by the band RPM and the lovely voices of the Cathedral School Choir, with Rab Hadleigh on violin. The master is in the process of completion.
Teresa is also recording some of the old favourites with our house band RPM, including the haunting "Nobody's Child" - and they will soon be performing live.

Press and PR

Teresa Milward and Jane Powell are a singer/songwriter team from Hereford, England. They are based at the Hereford Music Studios, home of the Speakeasy label.
Although enjoying her work in the caring profession, in a re-ablement unit, Teresa's first love has always been music, with an intention to sing professionally. When her friend Jane offered her a song she'd written, called "Christmas comes once a year", Teresa jumped at it, and they took the song along to the Studio to record.
Under the creative guidance of musical director Pete Goodall, the catchy lyrics then began to take on a life of their own, aided and abetted by the voices of the Hereford Cathedral School Choir, violin, and backing band.
Jane, who has now signed up with Speakeasy Recordings, has a whole quiver full of songs under her belt for Teresa to sing, in various styles ranging from the country and western-ish "Christmas comes once a year" to a calypso style number.

Releases

"Christmas comes once a year" will be released as a Speakeasy download ( in good time for Xmas!). A demo has already gone out to the radio pluggers, who like it a lot, so, watch this space!
Also in the pipeline and written by Jane is "Come back and Stay". A short taster of this love song can be found on the Speakeasy Jukebox, along with Teresa's version of "Nobody's Child" and "Will you still love me tomorrow?"
